Purpletree Products was established in 1999 by Susan Allison after 17 years of experience working with her family business Dunhouse Quarries of Staindrop (est. 1926), mainly for the commercial industry. Over the years we have gained a wealth of knowledge in sourcing and the specification of natural stone materials and how to maintain them. Products are sourced both from our own family owned UK quarries and other reputable long established quarries and sources worldwide.
As specialists in exterior hard landscaping products, both new and reclaimed, we can supply granite, sandstones, quartzites, limestones, slates, travertines, to both contractors and private clients direct, for both commercial and residential projects worldwide. We also work with numerous architects, garden designers, horticulturalists and landscape contractors to offer a complete service from conception to completion.
We are experts in the field of natural stone supply and manufacture and can create living area, kitchen, conservatory, bathroom and external hard landscaping schemes that are both functional and stunning. Floor tiles, wall tiles and mosaics are available in limestone, sandstone, slate, terracotta and travertine materials, as well as porcelain and glass. Contemporary circular stone basins and natural stone shower trays are also available in a selection of finishes.
We can offer specialist stone sourcing service and help with your design and choices of materials to suit your scheme however large or small.
Displays of internal and external products can be viewed at our showroom which is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday mornings 9.30am to 12.30pm.
